Rope¶

The Rope is an item that allows the player to climb high walls. It can be bought in Blackwell after the Stone Gate at the Black Tower has been visited.

Appearance¶

A long rope with a hook at its end. When equipped, it is wearn cross the upper body in multiple windings.

Where to find¶

After visiting the Stone Gate in the valley next to the Black Tower one can meet a scientist in Blackwell. Talking to him reveals he's a friend of a local rowmaker; mentioning this to said rowmaker results in a discount on the rope that makes it affordable.

Use¶

Using it swings it next to the body while switching to first-person view, another button press has the hook thrown accordingly. The hook may hook into fitting objects, allowing to climb up walls. It can also be used as block and tackle (Flaschenzug in German) in certain situations.
