Throwing Stars¶

Throwing stars are a distance weapon for throwing.

Appearance¶

Throwing stars are modelled after the popular Ninja shuriken, specifically the star-shaped variant with 4 blades, i.e., type 3 in this picture.

Where to find¶

These items can only be bought at forges and are relatively expensive. They are carried around in a bag which needs to be found first.

Use¶

The bag can carry up to 10 throwing stars. They are used as a mid-range distance weapon; hits deal more damage to an enemy than an arrow. Like all distance weapons, they can be used to activate distant switches.

In addition to simply throwing them as-is, original Shuriken were used in interesting variants, e.g. for ignition of fire or applying poison. Maybe this can be implemented as well.
