14 | ## Appearance |
||
15 | |||
16 | Throwing stars are modelled after the popular [Ninja shuriken](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shuriken), specifically the star-shaped variant with 4 blades, i.e., type 3 in [this picture](https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Shurikens.jpg). |

18 | ## Where to find |
||
19 | |||
20 | These items can only be bought at forges and are relatively expensive. They are carried around in a bag which needs to be found first. |
||
21 | |||
22 | ## Use |
||
23 | |||
24 | The bag can carry up to 10 throwing stars. They are used as a mid-range distance weapon; hits deal more damage to an enemy than an arrow. Like all distance weapons, they can be used to activate distant switches. |
||
25 | |||
26 | In addition to simply throwing them as-is, original Shuriken were used in interesting [variants](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shuriken#Usage), e.g. for ignition of fire or applying poison. Maybe this can be implemented as well. |
